At Fajr Academy, you will teach the Holy Qur'an with accurate Tajweed rules to international English-speaking students across the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia in live 1-to-1 online classes.
Working shifts: Flexible evening & weekend slots (UK / US timezone friendly)
What you'll do
- Conduct live, scheduled 1-on-1 Qur'an recitation and Tajweed classes via Zoom or Google Meet
- Correct student pronunciation (Makharij) and explain essential Tajweed rules in clear English
- Maintain weekly student progress logs and prepare students for milestone assessments
- Provide encouraging, constructive feedback to nurture a lifelong love for the Qur'an
What we're looking for
- Accurate Qur'an recitation with correct Makhraj and strong knowledge of Tajweed rules
- Conversational or fluent English is mandatory (ability to comfortably explain lessons to children and adults)
- Prior online or madrasah teaching experience will be given strong priority
- Your own laptop or PC with reliable high-speed broadband and clear headset
- Punctuality, high work ethics, and sincere dedication to teaching
Compensation
15,000 – 24,000 BDT / month
Higher compensation negotiable for experienced teachers with verified track records.
